So in this article why is this man linked with extremist Islamist Jihad?

Well, if you have been following previous articles you will be aware of the rise of Extremist Islamism.

Many Arabian countries and Governmental systems, throughout their own individual turbulent and sometimes chaotic histories, have been infiltrated by radicalised Islamism. Adherents of Sayyid Qutb, Shukri Mustafa and Abd al-Salam Faraj, all Egyptian born Nationals, have in turn formed neo-brotherhoods and youth movements each more radicalised than its predecessor.

The UK has not been immune. Islamism has raised its head above the radar on so many occassions that we now have in place a dedicated Police Anti Terrorist Unit to deal with its adherents.

Sounds impressive doesn’t it?

That suggestion couldn’t be further from the truth!

In Islamist thought the West is viewed as the very embodiment of evil itself, the great Satan to be opposed and fought at all costs in the struggle of good versus evil.

The West is presented as one great unified body whose sole purpose is to destroy Islam and humiliate Muslims.

According to the former global leader of the extremist Islamist group Hizb ut-Tahrir, the late Abdul Qadeem Zalloom: “… when the discerning and sincere people say that the British are the head of kufr [unbelief] among all the other kufr states, they mean exactly that, for they are indeed the head of kufr and they are the arch-enemies of Islam.

The think tank was founded by Maajid Nawaz, Ed Husain and Rashad Zaman Ali. Both Ali and Nawaz are former members of the UK branch of the international Extremist Islamist group Hizb ut-Tahrir, and Husain studied with the group or group members.

HIZB UT-TAHRIR let me just remind you about this organisation as they have been lying low just of late.

Hizb ut-Tahrir plans its political progress in three stages: “First they convert new members. Secondly, they establish a network of secret cells, and finally, they try to infiltrate the government to work to legalize their party and its aims.

Part of its report entitled “the-future-for-muslims-in-britain” states a number of principles as follows

• Securing our Masajid, schools and Madrasahs upon an Islamic basis and standing for Islam when it is attacked.
• Support the work for re-establishing the Islamic Khilafah in the Muslim world, inc the UK
• To carry the message of Islam to the non-Muslims in the wider society
• Obedience to Allah and His Messenger is a fundamental obligation on upon every
  Muslim. We cannot compromise our principles based on some kind of ‘cost/benefit
  analysis’; nor adopt a different values system because of pressures upon us.
• Ultimately, success in any area of life is only with Allah, and that success is
  conditional on abiding by the Islamic Shari’ah.
• This community needs to agree some Islamic principles or “red lines” that should not be crossed either by word or deed.

Funding of Islamist movements by the previous Labour and todays Coalition Governments has indeed produced results

• Over 1000 Masajid built
• Over 100 Muslim schools established
• Many thousands of children attending Madrasahs after schools and weekends
• Halal food business on hundreds of High Streets up and down the country
• Muslim websites, newspapers, magazines, TV and Radio stations

The report goes on to provide some interesting details regarding that of the restoration of  The Khilafah.

The Khilafahis the system of governance Islam obliges the Muslims to establish. This was
the State that the Messenger of Allah (saw) established where Islam was established as a
system for society. The Khulafah Rashidun ruled the State after the Messenger of Allah’s
(saw) death. This Khilafah State continued to be the leadership of the Muslim Ummah till
the ‘Uthmaniyyah Khilafah (Ottoman State) was finally destroyed at the hands of Mustafa
Kemal with the help of the British on the 3rd March, 1924.

Funnily enough the founder of the Quillam Foundation Maajid Nawaz , In April 2002,  was charged and sentenced by the Egyptians for spreading the beliefs of Hizb ut-Tahrir,  legal in Britain but banned in Egypt and other countries because it calls for the overthrow of Governments. Read More

So, why be worried?

Article 56 of the draft constitution of the proposed state describes conscription as a compulsory individual duty, for all citizens. “Every male Muslim, fifteen years and over, is obliged to undergo military training in readiness for jihad.”

It maintains that under the caliphate, “Arabic is the language of Islam and the sole language of the state.”

Know that the Jews and their usurping state in Palestine will, by the Help and Mercy of Allah, be destroyed “until the stones and trees will say: O Muslim, O Slave of Allah. Here is a Jew behind me so come and kill him.

“When Westerners get killed, the world cries. But if Muslims get killed in Iraq or Afghanistan, it’s the smallest of news. I will condemn what happened in London only after there is the promise from Western leaders to condemn what they have done in Falluja and other parts of Iraq and in Afghanistan.” (Imran Waheed)

Writer and broadcaster Ziauddin Sardar wrote in 2005 that Hizb ut-Tahrir’s intolerance of any compromise with its goals was “a natural precursor of, and invitation to, violence.” He added that, in the long run, “violence is central” to the goal of an Islamic Caliphate.

The Panorama programme on the BBC showed an August 2006 speech by Ata Abu-Rishta, the global leader of Hizb ut-Tahrir, in which he called for the “destruction” of Hindus living in Kashmir, Russians in Chechnya and Jews in Israel.

From 1986 to 1996, under the leadership of Syrian born Omar Bakri Muhammad Hizb ut-Tahrir grew from a very small organization in Britain to a one of the most active Islamic organizations in the country.

Former Conservative MP Rupert Allason described Bakri as a “terrorist who believes in planting bombs and blowing up women and children in Israel.” Despite being vilified in the media, Roland Jacquard, an expert on Islamic terrorism, said that “every al-Qaeda operative recently arrested or identified in Europe had come into contact with Bakri at some time or other.”

A report in Foreign Affairs Journal claims that Hizb ut-Tahrir “dominates” the British Islamist “scene” with some 8,500 members in the United Kingdom.

According to ex-Hizb ut-Tahrir member Ed Husain, “Britain remains vital to Hizb ut-Tahrir, for it gives the group access to the global media and provides a fertile recruiting ground at mosques and universities.”

In a promotional video shown on BBC News a party representative asked: I think Muslims in this country need to take a long, hard look at themselves and decide what is their identity. Are they British or are they Muslim? I am a Muslim. Where I live, is irrelevant.

In July 2007, Leader of the Opposition David Cameron asked the new Prime Minister Gordon Brown why the organisation had not been banned from the United Kingdom, arguing it was an extremist group.

Today both David Camerons  Conservative Party and his coalition partners Nick Cleggs  Libdems work hand in hand with one of the most dangerous ideological Islamist movements ever seen on the British Mainland.
